Not many of you know this, as I don't really post anything personal info related to family and such, but about a week and a half ago, my nephew was abducted from my sister's home. Two days later, he was found murdered. He was only four years old, and probably one of the only kids I've ever liked having around me. He was smart, fun, and he made everyone around him laugh. The reason I am posting this is that I am asking that everyone reading to please go to this link:

Sign the petition, download the banner, and even send letters to the editors of your local newspapers. No, doing something like this won't make anything better for my family, but I find some great satisfaction knowing that people that do terrible things like this CAN be apprehended before they're given the chance to do something horrific to another child/family.
This is probably the most serious thing I've ever posted.Kentucky hasn't adopted the Amber Alert Program as of yet. Too bad they haven't.
EDIT***Also, it would be great if some of you copied this entry and posted it in your own journals. I'd really appreciate it.
