long overdue
been busy getting settled in dc. I got a good job in carment construction for a fetish store. the pay's not amazing but i'm learning to work with leather and such...so it's cool. Still looking for an apt. I've been missing my family terribly. I've managed to keep myself clean, sober, healthy and out of trouble for two months and i just started hormones today. still no computer so i have to check my mail and such from a cafe near work. i hope all of you have been doing well and that i can catch up on stuff soon.

It's good to see that you are doing well!! You are missed !! Shawn and I are helping Pat take care of a little kitty that he found that was lost in the rain. The kitties mom left him and there was another one but he lived for only two days. I will tell everyone hello for you. Have you gotten your sewing machine yet??

I lived in some apartments in Oxon Hill, Md. Yes, that is right on the border of SE DC, and yes, it is pretty ghetto... but even being trans I felt safe there. DC is a great place once you learn how it works... its not that people don't care or have hatred for others... they've just learned that its best to leave people alone...if they havent fucked with you...

congrats on the clean and sober life. You've started living again..instead of slowly dying. For that, a celebration should be held.

Hey -- don't know if you remember me cos we met like once in nola, but congratulations on the hormones and the sober!

I have a couple of friends transitioning (FTM) and they both told me that when they started hormones they had a much better time dealing with the behavioral problems they had.

If we should ever meet in person again, what should i call you?
